Know what you need before requesting pricing
A request for annual inspection tags is different from a request for recharge, replacement, cabinets, brackets, signage, or new extinguishers for a renovated space.
Count locations and units
Include the number of extinguishers, floors, suites, commercial units, kitchens, mechanical rooms, and parking areas if known. This helps a provider understand time on site and material needs.
Mention access constraints
Restaurants, retail plazas, condos, offices, and warehouses all have different access realities. Note whether work must happen before opening, after hours, or with property management escort.
Ask about recurring service
If the building will need annual inspections, monthly checks, or multiple locations serviced together, say that in the request. Recurring work can sometimes be quoted differently than a one-off visit.
